Happy New Year… MILPHS!!!
... and as Sharpey sings in High School Musical 2, "it's out with the old and in with the new...
2008 had various stages for me: At the beginning, I worked myself into the ground and relieved stress by eating dark chocolate and watching reruns of Sex and the City. By mid-year, I went to Europe and realized my true calling was the 4-hour work week, and that I should trade my dark chocolate for something deeper. (At a seminar I attended in late summer with Dr. John Gray, I learned that chocolate produces the same stress relieving hormones as a loving touch. I wasn't getting the latter, so I overdosed on the former.) In late 2008, after 4 years of wandering aimlessly through both online and offline dating, avoiding all things intimate and real, I actually found it, or rather him... (drum roll please...) Mr. Right.
So in 2009, I say move over Mr. Rich, Mr. Smooth, Mr. Commitment Phobe, and Mr. Dark Chocolate, and hello Mr. Right. I know it's kind of bold - to be so confident about a relationship so early on - but I say screw it... fortune favors the brave. I approach life with a very "It's either Hell Yes or Hell No attitude," as many of my friends can vouch. There is no luke-warm, 'middle-of-the-road' conundrum for me - it's either on or it's off. And when it's on... watch out.
So I am excited about 2009, with my new love, a 14-hour work week (haven't mastered the 4-hour week, yet), and spending quality time with my daughter and doing what I love... and with this thought, I wholeheartedly wish the same for you too.
Anyway enough about me...on to a gorgeous blond, my good friend Whitney Casey, who actually just finished a Howard Stern appearance today (gulp! I hope she survived that one.*). For those on my Face Book page, she is the crazy women I traveled to the Indian Himalayas with this fall, and her new book, The Man Plan: Drive Men Wild... Not Away is out today! In her new book, the former CNN correspondent and Emmy Award-winning journalist goes straight to the source -- men. After interviewing 250 men from across the country, Whitney reveals men's top turn-offs, deal breakers and "oh no you didn't" moments--uncensored. Don't delay buying this one ladies - it's a must read!
Now on to another gorgeous blond... New York Times best-selling author Peggy McColl. In her new book, Be a Dog with a Bone, Peggy asks What are your dreams worth to you? Be a Dog with a Bone will help you determine what your bone is by digging up your dreams and sniffing out your strengths. Come on, your dreams are worth it, you are worth it. 2009 is the year for you to be that dog with a bone, and roll around in the bliss of life! Buy the book TODAY and get free goodies.
